The children who happen to be homeless are just children.
Camp Discovery gives them a chance to be kids again.

Camp Discovery is an annual summer camp for the children who have lived or are living at Dayspring. Designed to help kids cope and thrive, it provides vital services and activities as well as a whole lot of fun.

Camp takes place Monday – Friday from June 9 – July 18

Every weekday is filled with educational, recreational, and social activities designed to help the children overcome the many challenges they face due to homelessness.

In its 24th year, Camp Discovery offers activities that many children will be experiencing for the first time in their life. Activities include vegetable gardening, horseback riding, creative writing, dance, swimming, skating, “Zoo Day,” field trips, and so much more.
