“Mommy, how will Santa know where to find me if we’re living at the shelter?”
Such a tender, innocent question — yet behind it are the worries and fears no child should have to carry. Leaving the only home you’ve ever known, sleeping in a car, staying with relatives or friends, or not knowing where your next meal will come from can be confusing, frightening, and overwhelming for a young heart.
This Christmas, you can help Santa find every child. Your kindness can bring warmth, comfort, and a little holiday magic to the children and families staying at Dayspring — reminding them they are not forgotten, and that love always finds a way.
You can make a difference this holiday season by ensuring every child at Dayspring has a gift.
At Dayspring, we believe every parent deserves to feel the joy and pride of providing for their children, especially during the holidays. That’s why one of our favorite traditions is the Holiday Gift Card Program. It gives parents the chance to personally choose and provide holiday gifts to their kids, creating moments filled with love, dignity, and joy.
Holiday Gift Card Program
With our Holiday Gift Card Program, you can purchase gift cards for the homeless families at Dayspring. The Dayspring staff will then accompany the parent(s) on a holiday shopping trip to buy gifts for their children. Your involvement in this program can brighten the season for these families.
Recommended Gift Card Amounts

All Gift Cards are due by 12/15 to allow for sufficient time to purchase gifts.

Throughout our community, homelessness is on the rise. Every year, Dayspring assists hundreds of families and children. For each of them, our doors offer stability and hope.
On Christmas morning, EVERY child at Dayspring Center will be thrilled to see that Santa has found them at the shelter. Please help us light up the eyes of children this holiday season.
